Maharashtra Itinerary – Top Things to do & Places to visit in Maharashtra

Day 1: Mumbai

Start your 10-day Maharashtra tour with a visit to the bustling city of Mumbai. Begin your day with a visit to the iconic Gateway of India, followed by a leisurely stroll along the Marine Drive. After that, head to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (formerly known as the Prince of Wales Museum) to explore its vast collection of artifacts. Later, take a ferry ride to Elephanta Caves, an ancient network of rock-cut temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. After exploring the caves, return to Mumbai and spend the night at one of the many luxury hotels in the city.

Day 2: Lonavala

On day two, drive to Lonavala, a hill station located in the Western Ghats. Spend the day exploring its lush green hills and valleys, and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Visit Karla Caves, an ancient Buddhist temple complex carved out of solid rock. Later, head to Bhushi Dam for some fun activities like boating and swimming. Day 3: Pune

Day 4: Aurangabad

Day 8: Satara
