Algeria Itinerary – Must visit places & things to do

Algeria is a country located in North Africa. It is the largest country in the region and the 10th largest in the world. It has a population of over 40 million people and is bordered by Tunisia, Libya, Niger, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, and Western Sahara. The official language is Arabic and the currency is the Algerian Dinar. The capital city is Algiers and the government is a semi-presidential republic.

Algeria has a rich history and culture with influences from both Europe and Africa. It has a diverse landscape ranging from mountains to deserts to coastal plains. The economy is largely based on oil and gas production, but there are also significant agricultural and manufacturing sectors. Algeria is an important player in regional politics and has strong ties to its neighbors.

Day 1: Algiers

Start your 20-day journey in Algeria by exploring the capital city of Algiers. Begin your day by visiting the National Museum of Fine Arts, which houses a collection of Algerian and international art.
